OUR MISSION STATEMENT

We Christians at Peace Lutheran Church, as members of the Body of Christ, whom God has equipped, use our collective gifts to proclaim God's Word for the salvation of all people and to glorify God by serving each other, our community, and the world.

THE BASIC LUTHERAN BELIEFS

**  We believe that the whole Bible is God's revelation to man. "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God." (2 Timothy 3:16)

**  We believe in the Triune God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. "Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19)

**  We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God and the only Savior of the world. "The Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world." (1 John 4:14

**  We believe that Christ died for the sins of the whole world. "Christ died for our sins." (1 Corinthians 15:3)... "for the sins of the whole world." (1 John 2:2)

**  We believe that man is saved by the grace of God through faith in Christ's atonement. "By grace you have been saved through faith." (Ephesians 2:8)

**  We believe that Baptism washes away all sins. "Rise and be baptized, and wash away your sins." (Acts 22:16)

**  We believe the words of Christ spoken when He instituted the Lord's Supper. "This is My Body... this is My Blood, which is shed for the remission of your sins." (Matthew 26:26-28)

"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John  14:6)
